Gully Classes Foundation is proud to announce its partnership with Shumei International in support of the First Annual Ceremony for Shumei India, scheduled for January in Mumbai. This exciting collaboration aims to unite non-profit organizations, students, and change-makers to celebrate their contributions to society while fostering connections that can drive positive social change.
First Step Forward: The 15th September Meeting
On 15th September 2024, representatives from Gully Classes Foundation and Shumei India gathered for a pivotal meeting to discuss the upcoming ceremony. The session was attended by Shumei Senior Members Junta and Mitsu, alongside Abdul Munaf, Founder of Gully Classes Foundation. The team discussed event logistics, key objectives, and the shared vision of celebrating the tireless work being done by various organizations in the community. This meeting was a key milestone in setting the groundwork for an event that promises to inspire and bring meaningful impact.
A Collaborative Spirit: Meeting with Sujata Sawant
On 23rd September 2024, we had the pleasure of meeting with Sujata Sawant, Founder of the Adarsh Foundation. This meeting marked the beginning of a productive partnership as we explored ways to include Adarsh Foundation in the Annual Ceremony. Abdul Munaf and Mitsu, in their discussion with Sujata, recognized the importance of working together with organizations that share a commitment to uplifting communities. This collaboration strengthens our dedication to creating an event that celebrates unity and the shared vision of driving social change.
The Vision: Celebrating Organizations and Building ImpactGully Classes Foundation and Shumei India: Joining Hands for the First Annual Ceremony
The primary objective of the Annual Ceremony is to bring together 10 leading NGOs from Mumbai, providing them a platform to showcase their extraordinary work. These organizations have dedicated their efforts to uplifting communities, addressing social challenges, and creating sustainable change. By gathering them in one space, the event will offer opportunities for networking, sharing knowledge, and celebrating the impact these organizations have made. It’s an event dedicated to recognizing the dedication and hard work of those working towards a brighter, more equitable future.
Empowering Students: A Learning Opportunity
Beyond the involvement of non-profits, the Annual Ceremony will also serve as an invaluable learning opportunity for students. College students from across Mumbai will be invited to participate and gain insight into the operations of NGOs. The event will provide them with a deeper understanding of the non-profit sector and how they can contribute meaningfully to social causes. We hope to inspire the next generation of leaders to take an active role in shaping a better world through volunteerism, advocacy, and meaningful contributions to social causes.
The Ceremony: A Platform for Change
The Annual Ceremony, scheduled to take place in Mumbai, will be a momentous event that brings together non-profits, students, and the local community. It will serve as a platform for exchange, recognition, and inspiration. Through this collaboration, we aim to build momentum for greater community engagement and empower individuals and organizations to continue working toward societal transformation.
As we approach the event in January, Gully Classes Foundation looks forward to the meaningful partnerships and outcomes that will emerge from this powerful gathering. We are confident that the event will not only celebrate the remarkable achievements of Mumbai-based NGOs but also inspire new collaborations and further advocacy for social change.
Stay tuned for more updates as we move closer to this important event. Together, we can make a lasting impact and foster the spirit of collective action that is needed to build a better world.Gully Classes Foundation and Shumei India: Joining Hands for the First Annual Ceremony
