"Empowering Education and Transforming Lives: A Successful CSR Partnership with First Source with Gully Classes Foundation"

On November 19, 2024, First Source Solutions Limited partnered with Gully Classes Foundation for a heartwarming and impactful CSR initiative aimed at empowering students from Gurukul English Medium School in Malwani, Malad. This collaboration focused on providing essential educational resources and creating lasting memories for students from underprivileged communities.

The day began with a special lunch at Banana Leaf Restaurant, offering the students a unique experience—their first-ever time dining in a restaurant. This occasion was not just about a meal, but about opening doors to new experiences and showing students the possibilities beyond their surroundings. After lunch, the group proceeded to First Source’s Malad office, where employees and students came together for an interactive session filled with creative activities.

The First Source team, including Sankara Mahalingam (CSR Head) and Komal Rathi (HR & CSR Coordinator), led the assembly of 255 school kits, packed with essential school supplies, stationery, and hygiene items. These kits were distributed to the students to support their academic journeys. In addition, First Source Solutions made a generous donation of 10 Wall Libraries to Gurukul School, designed to foster a love of reading and improve access to educational resources in the classrooms.

The event also featured Ritesh Idnani, CEO of First Source Solutions, who attended alongside the leadership team, including Sankara Mahalingam and Komal Rathi. They joined Abdul Munaf and Hakim Shaikh from Gully Classes Foundation and Farid Shaikh, Principal of Gurukul School, in celebrating the success of the event. Students also performed a traditional dance, adding a cultural touch to the festivities.
